I've been on the hunt for the perfect photo to post, but I keep coming back to this one. I apologize for the poor quality, as this is a photo of a photo (and I'm short - I couldn't avoid the overhead light).
This one is hanging up in McLean, and it really struck me when I saw it. There's just so much going on!
The black material and zipper over the subject's face gives it a feeling of being a body bag, but the direction of the zipper grain of the leather makes it clear that it isn't. That almost makes me think of fetishism. That contrast makes me think and wonder about what the photographer was trying to convey. I wish I knew who took it!
