Assignment 1.3

I like this photograph I took of my parents dog because it makes me think of the late nights we would stack hay bales by hand when I was growing up while the dog would watch us hoping to catch our attention. The shadow from the sunset catches her perspective perfectly.

Assignment 1.3

I love this photo because it really shows how a camera can capture just a fraction of a second of time. There's no motion blur and the depth of field is perfect with the tiger and the droplets close to it being in focus while some of the ones that have got close to the camera are out of focus. And I love how clearly you can see one of his eyes.

Assignment 1.3

I took this photo in California two years ago. I enjoy the composition in the photo.  How the cat is centered to the left and how the blossoms in the tree are reflected in the glass of the coffee table. The photo is slightly canted.  I also like how deep the colors look; specifically the greens of the foliage and the pinks of the fallen petals.

1.3 Assignment

I like this picture because it was taken 2 years ago. I can't believe how short my hair was and how much it has grown out. It was a fun hair show event  for Paul Mitchell. It was such good experience. I also loved how they did my makeup!
Paul Mitchell Systems is an American manufacturer of hair products and styling tools.

Assignment 1.3

This is my favorite picture, and my desktop wallpaper. I am obsessed with the city of Pittsburgh, PA, and it inspires me in my everyday life. I appreciate the wide variety of color and detail, the resolution of the image, the range of lights and reflections throughout the picture. It is so bright and vibrant despite the setting in the evening, and puts the city in a wonderful spotlight. To me, the picture is not just a place; it's a dream, and it's home.

Assignment 1.3

I like this photograph because it really showcases the homes in San Francisco well. When I traveled to San Francisco, I thought the houses were really interesting. They were painted a variety of bright colors, and many had an old Victorian architecture. This photograph does a good job showcasing these colorful homes amongst the San Francisco skyscrapers that are featured in the background.

Favorite Photo

I like this picture because of the contrasting colors, such as red and green, off set each other. I also like how even though it is a simplistic photo, it still gives the viewer many things to think about. Overall, this is one of my favorite photos.
