Assignment 1.3 - Helin G.

Steve McCurrys portrait photo of "Afghan Girl" has and always will be my favorite photograph of all time. The original story is that he caught the photo of this girl staring at him at a busy marketplace in Afghan. In a crowd full of different faces and different people, these two made a connection and he took a photo. There is so much emotion and story in this portrait and the striking stare she gives feels like it bores into your soul.

I HAVE been in the Pastoral ministry for las 40 yrs in this great contrast where richest of rich and the poorest of poor live. We reach out to the poorest of poor with the love of Christ to bring healing to the brokenhearted. We also encourage young and the adults from the west to come to Mumbai to work with us during their vacation time. we would love to have you come to Mumbai with your two other siblings to work with us during your vacation time. 2. What a beautiful choice for a photo. Her eyes are so striking and really draw you in. The color contrast and the story behind it makes it a classic as well.
