I like this photo because the photographer did a different perspective when I first saw the photo I instantly thought of a river but as I continued to look I saw the sky which looks like it been taken from inside a cave. I like how organic the flow of the sky is and how the cave is dark with some highlights so the viewer can make it out.
I agree and I think the most intriguing part of this image is how much it drags you in. Once you first look, you think it's a river and once you start looking deeper into the picture you start to notice other textures, forms, and details. Having an image that brings you in to think about what is really going on I think is very important and will benefit your image overall.
