This is one of Kyle J. Thompson's many surreal self portraits. He dedicates his life to photography, living in his car and traveling all over to find the perfect locations for his work. It is all done with a tripod and timer. I really like his use of DOF and almost retro style colors. There is no true black shadow in any of his photos, just a sort of deep gray or sepia tone, and it adds an earthy, ethereal tone to his imagery. He has is so innovative and has such dedication to his work, and he is one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to photography.
