Do forgive the cliche, but I'm kind of a sucker for the classic waterfall shot. Whenever I see water in photography, I always find a unique portrait being taken. Yes, you can take a picture at the same angle, time, placement and exposure using all the same equipment, but you can never really get the EXACT same thing as the first time it is taken. The way water can make an image distinct and unique makes it a fantastic subject for photography. With this image, the slight bending and manipulation of the reflection, with a slow shutter speed and a shallow depth of field, give this picture a combination of swirled, earthy highlights, almost appearing psychedelic, but feeling grounded.
