I am not certain whether this is truly a great photograph, but it is one that I like. I read the post on D2L that simplicity, composition, and realism make a good photo and I do not know if these elements exist in this. However, I like what I feel when I look at this photo. The girl in the photo is 100% in control of what her body is doing- it is a combination of strength & patience and being able to capture that in a photograph is a big deal. I also enjoy the lighting because it seems peaceful...maybe it isn't lighting, maybe it is tint? Haha, I obviously do not have all the photography jargon down however, I like to think that I am trying.
